A superb copy of this must have record!!

King Crimson’s In the Court of the Crimson King is one of the most influential progressive rock albums ever recorded and its unforgettable artwork is almost as famous as the music itself.

Released in 1969, the album introduced listeners to a bold new combination of progressive rock, jazz, classical influences, psychedelic experimentation, and heavy, dramatic compositions. Tracks such as “21st Century Schizoid Man,” “Epitaph,” “I Talk to the Wind,” and “The Court of the Crimson King” helped establish King Crimson as one of the defining bands of early progressive rock.

The terrifying face on the cover was painted by Barry Godber, a friend of lyricist Peter Sinfield. Godber reportedly used his own face as the model, looking into a shaving mirror while creating the expression.
