Released in 1983 on the legendary 4AD label, Head Over Heels marked a major turning point for Cocteau Twins. Following the darker post-punk textures of their debut, the band expanded their sonic palette, creating a lush and immersive sound that would become the blueprint for dream pop and influence generations of musicians.

Recorded as a duo following the departure of bassist Will Heggie, Robin Guthrie and Elizabeth Fraser crafted a record unlike anything else being released at the time. The result was a stunning collection of shimmering guitars, layered production, and Fraser’s unmistakable voice soaring through a landscape of emotion and mystery.
