The Groove Robbers Ft DJ Shadow & Chief Xcel - Hardcore / Fully Charged On Planet X
Vinyl - N/M

This record is a piece of underground hip hop history, a holy grail for collectors of the legendary Mo’ Wax label.
Released in 1996 as part of the label's acclaimed "Excursions" series, this 12" vinyl is a powerhouse collaboration between the heavyweights of the Solesides crew.
The record is a split release featuring two of the most influential figures in alternative hip-hop:
• Side A: The Groove Robbers featuring DJ Shadow
• "Hardcore (Instrumental) Hip Hop": This track is a masterclass in Shadow’s signature sampling style. It’s gritty, atmospheric, and serves as a perfect bridge between his early work and the cinematic heights of Endtroducing.....
• Bonus Beats: The A-side also includes "Last Stop".
• Side AA: Chief Xcel (of Blackalicious)
• "Fully Charged on Planet X": Featuring the lyrical acrobatics of The Gift of Gab and Lateef the Truthspeaker, this track showcases the high-energy, complex flow that the Bay Area scene was famous for. It was engineered by the legendary Dan the Automator.
The artwork is as famous as the music itself, featuring the unmistakable abstract graffiti style of Futura 2000.
